We work with landowners to create thoughtfully run secure dog fields, and we are always interested in suitable new locations.
A well-run field can make good land work harder.
Muddy Paws Fields creates secure private spaces where people can exercise their dogs without sharing the field with anyone else. We are looking for landowners who value careful management, dependable standards and a respectful long-term relationship.
Every site is different. We begin by understanding the land, access, surroundings and local demand before deciding whether an opportunity is right for everyone involved.
Built from first-hand operating experience.
Muddy Paws already operates secure dog fields across Somerset and Dorset. We understand the practical details that turn suitable land into a place visitors trust and return to.
What Muddy Paws can take care of
The exact arrangement depends on the site, but our role can cover the practical work needed to establish and operate a trusted private dog field.
Site planning
Field layout, access, fencing, gates, signage and the details that shape a safe visit.
Booking and payments
A straightforward online journey, secure payments and clear visitor information.
Marketing and support
An established brand, local promotion and ongoing communication with visitors.
Day-to-day standards
A consistent operating approach built around privacy, safety, reliability and respect for the site.
Start with the land, not a sales pitch.
Questions landowners usually ask
Will I need to run the field myself?
Not necessarily. Muddy Paws can manage the visitor-facing operation, including bookings, payments, information and support. The responsibilities for each site are agreed clearly before anything proceeds.
Who pays for fencing and site preparation?
That depends on the land and the partnership arrangement. We review the likely work and agree responsibilities, costs and expectations openly before either party makes a commitment.
What about planning, access and insurance?
These are considered during the site review. We look at access, parking, neighbouring uses and the practical operating requirements, then identify any professional advice or permissions needed before moving forward.
Does the land have to be exactly 1.5 acres?
No. Around 1.5 acres is a useful guide, but shape, access, surroundings and local demand matter too. A slightly different site may still be worth discussing.
What happens after I get in touch?
We begin with a straightforward review of the location and the information you provide. If the opportunity appears suitable, we arrange a proper conversation and, where appropriate, a site visit. There is no obligation.
If you have land in mind, we would be pleased to hear about it.
An approximate location, acreage and a short description are enough to begin. You can send photographs or an aerial plan by email if helpful. There is no obligation and no need to prepare a formal proposal.
