FAQ

How muddy is Muddy Paws Fields

We’ll be honest: long spells of wet weather do turn the fields very muddy. Please come prepared with wellies—clean shoes won’t survive.

Does the field have lighting?

Not at present, so please bear this in mind when booking.

We are happy for people to use the field when visibility is low – we recommend a strong torch. Please don’t use the lack of light as an excuse not to pick up after your dog(s).

How do I receive my entrance code?

Once you have created your booking, an automated confirmation email will be sent to your email address. If you haven’t received your entrance code within ten minutes, please ensure you have checked your junk / spam mail boxes – if you do not receive a confirmation email please contact us via Email Us or message us on Facebook.

How secure is the field?

At both of our Trent fields, three sides of the field are fenced with 6ft LFX12-182-15 fencing,

The remaining side (trackside) is maintained by Network Rail – this fence-line is post and wire fencing, covered by a privacy cover – to ensure that this side is secure we have added a 4ft LFX-12-15 fencing. This is a temporary solution while we await Network Rail replacing the length of this fencing.
Network Rail have agreed to replace this fencing with 6ft chain-link fencing – we are anticipating that this will be completed 2025.

The dimensions of the LFX-12-182-15 fencing is as follows:
